Vice President – Debt Advisory – Origination
We are currently partnering with a leading European advisory firm renowned for its expertise in across capital solutions. With a strong reputation in the mid-market space, our client is looking to build out its Debt Advisory function to support its retained client base. As such it is seeking a Debt Advisory professional with a strong network and ability to originate deals to join their London office.
The firm is highly regarded for its work in raising capital for buyouts and other financing solutions.
The Vice President will play a pivotal role in originating and executing debt advisory mandates across a diverse range of sectors. This is a client-facing leadership role with significant responsibility for deal execution and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising private equity funds and corporate clients on a variety of financing solutions, including leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and refinancing.
- Leading transaction teams and serving as a primary point of contact for clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Structuring and negotiating complex debt transactions.
- Mentoring and managing junior team members, including analysts and associates.
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to the origination of new mandates.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience at VP level within a debt advisory or leveraged finance environment (8+ years experience).
- Strong track record of leading and executing debt advisory transactions.
- Deep understanding of financing structures and market dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and build client relationships.
