We are excited to be working with a bulge bracket bank who are looking to hire a Director/ Senior VP to join their 15-person Energy, Infrastructure & Energy Transition Investment Banking team in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity join a small team, giving you the launch pad to Exec Director and ultimately Managing Director, playing a to play a key role advising global clients on big ticket M&A, and Debt Advisory transactions across sectors shaping the future of infrastructure and energy, including renewables, regulated utilities, transport infrastructure and energy transition assets.
Recent deals include:
- Sell-side – For development of floating and fixed offshore win
- Buy-side -BESS operator
- Italian – Sale of Stake in Renewables Portfolio
- Sale of seven English operating onshore wind
Given the team structure, and low senior headcount, you will play a central role in both origination transactions, working closely with their 2 MDs while also leading junior team members. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality services across live and complex strategic deals
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of M&A, corporate finance and capital raising transactions
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, supporting the development and management of long-term relationships
- Oversee and review financial modelling, valuations and transaction analysis
- Prepare and deliver pitch books, marketing materials and client presentations
- Conduct detailed industry, market and company research
- Analyse capital structures and financing options for infrastructure and energy assets
- Work closely with internal teams including debt, equity and advisory specialists
- Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts, ensuring high-quality output across projects
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including investors, funds, developers and advisors

Ideal candidates need to have:
- 7/8 experience within Investment Banking or a closely related sector
- Strong deal sheet in in M&A and capital raising transactions
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
